Welcome to Chelsey V's Art Thing

Dear Thing A Day readership (viewership?),

Due to my consistent inability to update on a daily basis, I have decided to stop leading you all astray with false advertising.

Chelsey V's Thing A Day is now Chelsey V's Art Thing.

I will continue to update haphazardly but at least this blog will now appear to be a little more honest.

Thanks for continuing to stop by!

Best regards,
Chelsey V

Partial Hiatus

Chelsey V's Thing a Day is currently on partial hiatus due to more pressing academic and professional matters. I will continue to make Things, but no longer on a strict daily basis.
This will likely continue for the rest of the semester.

Just think of this blog as Chelsey V's Thing a Whenever She Finds Time During the Week (Likely the Weekend).

Catchy, no?

Sway

This is my very first still image .gif experiment. I used 16 frames. Enjoy.

Eucropia

It's the first week of the semester and I'm super busy/drained of energy. So I took a little inspiration from Facebook. Because in my world, even when I'm too mentally drained to make a Thing, there is always time for Facebook.

Here's the rules:
1) Go to Wikipedia and hit random. The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band. 2) Go to QuotationsPage.com and hit random. The last four or five words of the very last quo...te of the page is the title of your first album. 3) Go to Flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”. The third picture--no matter what it is--will be your album cover.

(it's the end of the George Bernard Shaw quote)

So there you have it!
